The cost of living is biting hard. I know from speaking to people that we are all struggling. Millions across the country can’t afford their energy bills, prices are going up and wages are stagnating. I believe the Government needs to do more. The Prime Minister won’t do anything but wait for his replacement and the two people standing to replace him have said helping people is waste of money. Next year energy bills will pass £4,500 per year which just isn’t sustainable. It will push millions into fuel poverty.

The cost of living crisis is too much. Too many are struggling because of international forces and the inaction of this government. I call upon this government to scrap VAT on energy bills and to act swiftly to deploy real help before it is too late. That means saving real families £1000 each on their energy bills by freezing the energy cap through this winter.
