Virendra Sharma MP pays tribute to Sukhwinder Singh

 

Sukhwinder Singh brutally murdered by thieves after giving chase after women’s handbag stolen outside Barking Station

 

Virendra Sharma MP paid tribute to 28 year old Sukhwinder Singh who was brutally and tragically stabbed to death by thieves he had pursued after they had stolen a woman’s handbag near Barking Station on 10th January 2010. Mr Singh, a Sikh from the Punjab who had lived in the UK for 10 years leaves behind a widow and son in rural Punjab in north India.

 

Virendra Sharma MP said

 

“Mr Singh’s murder is shocking and tragic. He selflessly and courageously decided to try and help others and paid for this with his life. I am deeply saddened by this evil and terrible ending of a good life and offer my deepest sympathies and condolences to Mr Singh’s family and friends. Those who murdered Mr Singh must be brought to justice.”
