On Saturday 13th February Virendra Sharma MP went on a walkabout in Southall Broadway to meet local people and shopkeepers, and was given a warm and friendly welcome. He was joined by Southall Labour Councillors and candidates on the walkabout that was led by two dhol drummers. Other community leaders and supporters were present as posters of Virendra Sharma were put up in local shop windows.

Commenting on the walkabout Virendra Sharma MP said:

“I was delighted to receive such a warm and supportive welcome from local people, shop owners and business leaders in Southall Broadway. As people know I am often on Southall Broadway and I am always available to listen to any concern that local people or businesses may have. It is an honour to be the local Member of Parliament and I will continue to work hard to serve and unite the local community.”
