Virendra Sharma MP elected to the Parliamentary Select Committee for Health

Virendra Sharma MP elected to the Parliamentary Select Committee for Health

Virendra Sharma MP has today been elected by his fellow Labour MPs to serve on the Parliamentary Select Committee for Health.

Commenting on his election Virendra Sharma MP said,

“I am delighted and honoured to have been chosen by my peers to serve on this very important select committee. There is a huge amount of work to be done by the committee that is of great importance to both my constituents and the country as a whole. Protecting the National Health Service in these difficult economic times is of vital importance. I will be using my position to hold the Con Dem coalition to account and to seek to ensure that the advances made by the previous Labour Government in health services are not lost and that improvements are made.”
