Road Safety Week

DSC_2088_-_Road_Safety_week.jpgAs a part of Road Safety Week, I supported a fantastic campaign run by Brake that highlighted the need for drivers to ‘tune into road safety.’

The campaign underlined the need for drivers to avoid preventable accidents by calling on them to not handle their phones whilst driving. Many accidents take place because drivers are multitasking and not paying attention, particularly drivers handling their phone at the wheel.

We all have our part to play in making sure our roads are safe for everyone. Even if you are not a driver, you can do your part by refusing to speak to someone on the phone that is driving and handling their phone at the same time.
