New Ealing Southall Charity Focus

I regularly visit local charities in our area, and offer my wholehearted support to the amazing work they do in our community and further afield. I may be biased but I think Ealing Southall is one of the most charitable constituencies in the UK, and I want to make sure all of the wonderful charity work going on is given the high profile it deserves, amongst local residents and the rest of the country too!

I have been contacting charities registered in our community, to gather a clearer picture of the work they do locally, nationally and even internationally. I was recently provided with a list of our local charities by the Charities Commission, and I was staggered to learn that there are 182 charities registered in Ealing Southall, and many hundreds more registered elsewhere but doing great work in our area.

In an effort to make sure everyone knows about the great work these charities are doing, over the coming months I will be putting together a Charity Focus list here on my website. You will be able to see profiles of many of our local charities, and what they have been doing recently. I will also be providing links for you to donate to these charities and even volunteer for them if you have any time to spare.
