Bharat Gaurav Awards

140614355902037100_resized_1_.jpgOn 23th July, I attended the Bharat Gaurav Lifetime Achievement Awards ceremony, rewarding people from around the world who have achieved a landmark in their profession or in community work which has benefited India.

Bharat Gaurav Award was set up by Sanskriti Yuva Sanstha, an NGO which works across the world profiling the rise of Indian culture through various social programmes. Sanskriti Yuva Sanstha organizes the Grand Jaipur Marathon annually - a sporting event attended by thousands of participants with many Indian celebrities participating and being involved with local community work.

Sanskriti Yuva Sanstha held the first Bharat Gaurav Award ceremony in 2012 in the USA; the event was a great success and was attended by many people from around the world. Individuals and organisations awarded the Bharat Gaurav Lifetime Awards are added to the history of Rajasthan, where Sanskriti Yuva Sanstha was first set up.

I would like to congratulate all those who received an award for their efforts and hard work contributing to the wider Indian society. It is remarkable to see so many different people from such diverse working environments come together to celebrate each other’s work.
