Beating Bowel Cancer

Bowel cancer is the UK’s second biggest cancer killer with over 100 people being diagnosed with the condition every day.

If it is diagnosed early and treated, the vast majority of people can be cured. Over 90% of people diagnosed with stage one bowel cancer will be alive five years later.

There needs to be a continued focus on bowel cancer as it’s such an important health issue. Raising awareness, knowing the symptoms and getting help early is vital. By following these steps, bowel cancer can become a rare cancer killer instead of a common cancer killer with the life of the next government.
